Metro Racing T-shirts, What Happened
« on: October 30, 2018, 05:48:51 PM »
I just received two t-shirts from Metro racing. Ive bought from them in the past and was very happy with their product. Postage was extortinate but I tend to suck this up if the quality of product is there. Two Moto Guzzi shirts cost me $60.00 and they are crap. Dont fit, poor quality thin material and generally just cheap rubbish. What happened? They used to be printed on Hanes beefy Ts and lasted really well. Have I been sent some inferior quality item because Im on the other side of the planet or have they really gone the way of so many businesses today.
Also I am not some freakish shape, 6'1 and a little long in the body but these things are like midriff tops and Im not looking to get picked up in a bar.
Comments appreciated.

Thus seems the trend in T-shirts throughout US retail.
Thin material, huge/saggy necks, short short sleeves.
I’m very wary of buying t-shirts on line these days.

Maybe that’s the style these days ..... now you kids get off my lawn!

I can't comment on the t shirts but postage from any part of the world to Australia is fn ridiculous. I just bought what amounts to a handful of bumper nuts and bolts for my 64 Tbird and the postage charged was $58US or $82 Aust. Man that burns. I did buy some Guzzi T shirts last year that seem to be good quality. I will post were I got them if I can find the invoice.

They ship the crappy ones to the Southern Hemisphere. I’ve never been a fan, as a former screen printer/embroiderer, thier work always sucked. The printed logos are heavier than the shirt, uncomfortable to wear and not washer friendly.
