Picking up on GuzziSteve's comment about the apparently excellent functionality of Chinese starters etc etc
Don't beat up on the starters, its Luigi's crazy wiring that's letting them down
Perhaps the Chinese have figured a way around that.

I took a trip out to the local dealer in order to look at a Chinese starter, looks the same as what we are used to.
I see nothing on the schematics that tells me the V7 line won't suffer just the same as other models.
