I think it's a great clip, very atmospheric. Fay and I did a 4500 trip a few years back to Cape Breton Island and back through Quebec, so we were on some of those same roads, and the video brought back memories.
It's especially good because it shows the little practical things that you do ... motorcycle trips aren't all soaring on a magnificent mountain pass or swinging through switchbacks; you spend a lot of time toting your stuff into motels, riding in the rain next to big trucks, stopping to eat or fuel up, and when you include that in your travelogue it makes you remember your OWN trips even more. In terms of watchability, I would have cut back on some of the jerky "fast motion" segments even if the video time was extended a bit as a result - I could easily have sat still for 9 or 10 minutes to watch that.
I ALMOST came to the same fate you did - following my riding partner, we came off of a gravel road onto a paved road at an intersection; the paved road had gravel all over it as I was trying to make the unexpected stop, and down we went with a fully loaded Stelvio right onto my left ankle. Didn't break, but a "pop" and a bad high sprain that resulted in us staying in Lunenberg, Nova Scotia two extra days with me sitting with ice on my ankle ...
That's a beautiful part of the world, and thanks for taking the time to document it so nicely ... !!
