2017 V9's on Blowout Sale
« on: January 29, 2019, 11:23:09 AM »
This is Cadre Cycle in Cincinnati Area.  Get 'em while they're hot.
You must add $550 freight and $50 doc fee to the advertised prices.
This is the place where I got mine on Saturday.  No BS.  What you see is what you get.

Wow indeed!

(I paid more than that for the lumber for my latest 12x16 shed, and my shed is nowhere near as much fun as a motorcycle.)

Triumph has bikes made in Thailand but I do not think Guzzi is doing the same.  I actually saw the Triumph building last November when in Bangkok, it's right off their version of the Interstate between the airport and downtown.

Looking at the bike in the ad and comparing to the pics you posted in the other thread https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=99574.msg1574968;topicseen#new

Looks like you have a bobber seat on your Roamer.  Did you do a trade out on the seats?

If I were in the market for a small cruiser I would definitely be swayed by that price compared to the $11k I would have to spend on the Sportster model I like.

If I add another bike to my stable it will be a small adventure/dual sport/farm bike.  Watching YouTube videos on the Vanvan 200, Versys X-300, and CFR 250 Rally.  If that Vanvan were a 400cc with double the fuel capacity it would be the bike of choice based on that couch of a seat.

I have the regular seat for my Roamer, which is sort of a seat and a half and is the factory seat for the 2017 (USA) Roamer.
I don't know why they show the 2-up seat in the picture, but someone said that the European models for 2017 came with the longer seat so maybe they simply showed the European model there.  If you buy a 2017 V9 Roamer then ya get that seat-and-a-half.

Looks better with the flat seat.

Yep, the seat changed between model years. U.S. 2017 had the flat, 2018 got the raised passenger seat.

I actually prefer the flat version because it gives me more room to change position on a long ride. One other thing to note is that while the flat seats on the Roamer and Bobber look the same, the Roamer is noticeably softer.

That, plus the higher bars and more relaxed riding position, makes my 17 Roamer a nice solo tourer.
