surprisingly good sound (quite close to their much more expensive models), excellent isolation (as good or better than most foam ear plugs if the right tip is used and properly inserted), efficient enough to run off your phone at more-than-you-want volume for a good long while, fit under your helmet:

I toured all over with a pair of the original ER4's which sadly are no longer available (the newer model doesn't fit under helmets as well).  These are more efficient, tougher and sound nearly as good or better for a lot less. Highly recommended.

For those of you who bought this Slimbuds product or use other Bluetooth paired earphones, here's a nice device i just installed on the handlebars, works well with gloves and can be positioned anywhere you like.  Both volume control as well as backwards/forwards on your playlist.

Had it on the Griso today for a nice little 100 mile romp, and makes it easy to operate with the phone safely tucked away.  Once paired via bluetooth to your phone, it stays connected.  Battery should last a year.

Great find, Paul. I just ordered one. I had to buy mine on eBay, though.

My "Bluetooth Steering Wheel Volume Controller KEBIDU Watchband Style Wireless Remote for Motorcycle Bike Handlebar for iPhone iOS Samsung Android(4.0 or Later) Single Finger Operation" doodad arrived. When I opened the box, the little keypad immediately fell out of the body. That doesn't bode well for use with a motorcycle.

After reassembly, it paired with my phone instantly, but didn't work until about the 7th pairing. Should I choose to actually use it, some sort of silicon based sticky goo may be required to keep it one piece.

Hi Mark...that sounds like they sent you a badly assembled one I suspect.  Perhaps a return for a new one is in order...one trick I have found...it requires one or two pushes of the button to "wake" it up from dormancy, and then pairs quickly and responds quickly to commands after being woken up...almost like a Lithium battery!

Its been working perfectly since the last pairing. Goes to sleep as expected, and wakes up on the first push. I'm just going to pop in my wee tank bag, which is on the bike pretty much all the time.
