A few years back i had the bright idea of setting the TPS Voltage on the fly, I bought a wide band fuel ratio meter similar to this
https://www.trackwerks.com/products/aem-electronics-digital-wideband-uego-gauge?variant=31282280333396
I thought if I can change the TPS millivolts while riding I can tweak the mixture for the optimum reading on the fuel meter. I was somewhat surprised to find that at speed I could vary the TPS mV +/- 100 mV with barely any impact on the fuel ratio. It probably has more impact around idle but I think other factors like engine revs must have more at speed.
Update.
This was before the days of Guzzidiag, I had one of the Cliff Jefferies ECU kits in a Vll sport, i was thinking once I had the best TPS setting for any given speed I would tweak the map but I ended up getting a better map from a guy in Europe

In 2001 Doug Lofgren made a map for my hot rod Bassa on the dyno with an FIM program, he said the 15M factory map was crude. He added a gob of reference points for it to adjust itself. Best 1500 bucks I ever spent, amortized.

Thanks for all the input. I was surprised myself that it ran well from just slapping it on. I will go through the procedure set it up and see where it is, but honestly it runs as good as it ever did.
thanks again
