Da Plane...Da Plane!! Mr. Smooth Montalbano!
OK, apparently my mental blockage isn't working today, maybe I don't watch enough TV...Guzzistajohn gave that link to what a "Back off whip" is.... I'm still drawing a blank on what one is used for... I know, my innocence is showing... it's part of the price for growing up and staying a small-town boy.
<sigh> Dusty
I am offended by the appropriation of one of the natural wonders of the world to represent inclusion. BTW, a rainbow is the separation of colors or dispersion of the light. So really the light from the sun is inclusion and the light of the rainbow is dispersion. So, the symbol of inclusion should be the sun. :)
It's bad, I know, to even think this, but 40 years on, that car doesn't look so bad. I wouldn't mind having one, Corinthian Leather and all ...Lannis
Rainbow pride crosswalk?...
I can hear that engine revving all the way from here.
Uhhh, there’s this book, it’s been around for a long time. It says a rainbow has a totally different meaning. I’ll go with that one.
You might say absurdity needs to be met with absurdity....But I don't do stationary burnouts beacuse it's a dummies show...
If you watched the video, you would see that he wasn`t stationary, but was doing a power slide or "drifting" which takes some skill.
I can't do bike drifting because I'm the dummy with no skill... ....
Ah yeah I know that book! "Optiks" by Sir Isaac Newton. Yeah its really old.
Here's EXACTLY how it's used :grin:https:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_QLzthSkfM
So far, no matter how much I nod and say hello at gas stops or overlooks, I haven't found one yet with a "Get Back" whip tied to his handlebar who WASN'T an anti-social arsehole. And that's quite a few.So we're apparently NOT all "brothers in the wind" etc etc. I'd be willing, but I don't wear the approved outlaw non-conformist rebel uniform.Lannis[/quoteThe obvious irony stems from the fact Harley riders epitomize conformism.
