50 years watching NHL I’ve never seen a team use sticks as assault weapons like this Blues squad. Play Hockey.

The Broad Street Bullies were pretty good with the stick. As were the Rangers with Ferguson.
Anyway, that was some first half (30 min) of hockey. Looks like the wore themselves out a bit toward the end. The no call trip, if it was a trip 9I think so) was at least partially offset by the no hook call (clearly was) on the breakaway not long after that.

We went nuts for Scotty Bowman, Jacque Plant, Glen Hall, Ernie Wakely, Noel Picard, Red Berenson, et al when they became the expansion team in St Louis...in 6th grade we all took up roller hockey on the asphalt playgrounds...

I'm looking for revenge of that 1970 Bobby Orr thingee..

one thing is for certain, Stanley Cup playoffs are hands down the best playoffs/championships in major league sports.

Yeah Go Blues, with no Canadian teams in it my son and I are cheering for Saint Louis while we are on our motorcycle trip from Phoenix to Canada via the Pacific Coast.

The one thing I miss about living in St. Louis is going to see the Blues. And maybe a few eating establishments like Tucker's in Soulard and Charlie Gitto's and Ragazzi's on the hill. Oh, and O'connell's pub burgers.

I lived in Maplewood, 7305 Zephyr place. But no brewery then, or flying Tigers. There was a REALLY good Greek place called Michael's on Manchester however, Greek salad and wings MMMMMM
