New England Spring Fling 2
10:00 AM -- 2:00 PM

Sweet Evalina's Stand
688 Route 169
Woodstock, CT 06281
www.sweetevalinas.c om

Our second annual, up in the far Northeast corner of Connecticut. Come by as your schedule permits, grab some lunch, check out the bikes and celebrate the arrival of the 2019 season! We had 20 riders at last year's, on what was a grey, dreary day. This year, the weather promises to be spectacular...so we expect an even better turnout!

See you on Sunday,

Steven Rossi

It was a good showing.  I was impressed with the sidecar crowd, and the vintage Honda S90 (maybe) with the rigged oil cooler.  Owner, I want to learn more about this, message me.

Joe,
A few of us got to talk with the owner of that little Honda. The engine displaces 90cc. (Re-barreled from 50cc). Made in China and cheaper than dirt. The so-called factory oil cooler was trashed in favor of what you saw. Owner said the oil cooler is to help cool the engine during long high speed runs.
That thang is really out gunned by most anything. He claimed a 40 - 50m/h cruise. With a contact patch 1/2 the size of a dime and suspicious braking; what would you do?  R3~

Subaguzzii I believe I rode that sidecar up in Skowhegan at least 25 years ago ,then I went to  the guys shop I believe he runs a machine shop in Reading Mass, he did make some exhaust Port flanges for the Guzzi Roundheads for the screw inserts and Norton parts.

No current info on what parts  if any at this time.

He made is adapters to the Guzzi transmission, cast his own wheels., mounted the Subaru engine, had Earls style forks.Adapted water cooling from the engine to a heater in the sidecar for winter riding with his wife.

The sidecar was an English made probably a. WATSONION  with a door, was completely enclosed..
Very well thought out.
I was riding a Watsonion Monza mounted to a Eldorado.
Fun was had by all.

R3,
Okay, so he substituted the factory oil cooler for this mod.  I thought he plumbed it it originally, which would have been more interesting.
It's still a sweet machine for around town.  You know, to scare the Harley dudes.
Joe

And Gerry, thanks for the pics!
