Yep, sure remember those good ole days, but doubt that I could handle those conditions now at my age; took many long trips on KZ550, GPZ550 and GS850. Speaking of rain: it was disturbing to see how many places were flooded on this trip; so many farms not yet plowed or under water, rivers overflowing, roads covered with water (we had to get off I-72 in Springfield, Illinois because it was covered with water).

No doubt we will cross paths soon and have a beer together.

I think so, but not sure; the wheels do have "Moto Guzzi" written on the rims. Maybe Kirby will chime in here and verify.
