I fitted ohlins on a couple of my guzzi's after having pretty disappointing results with IKON and hagon.
ended up buying used aftermarket ohlins and have them rebuild and setup for the bikes.
the result is as good as it will ever get, and well adjusted to my taste. ( i hate rock hard suspension , i prefer handling some weight transfer due to soft shocks , than pogoing around with a semi hardtail. )
absolutely worth the efford.
with a relatively lightweight bike and a really heavy rear drive the ride is never going to be a good as on a chain drive motorcycle.

One potential issue that might keep any set of Ohlins from working at their best is their customizable abilities.  You usually order them custom and the first questions are your weight and how loaded do you usually run the bike.  So, the one size fits all approach of Ohlins with Guzzi may not be optimal if you fall outside of their weight envelope.  My experience is that when properly set up, they will work better than almost anything else out there even if your weight is not optimal, much better than stock unless you hit the parameters of the stock set-up perfectly.

They were built to order by Guzzi, and the label shows build date of Dec 12, 2023, and label show Moto Guzzi V7iii (Trofeo).   They did ask for my weight and primary riding circumstances as well.  Purchased through a reputable dealer in Italy.

Yes, they were built to spec.  I specified, my make, model, year of bike, along with my weight and normal load.

2017 V7 III racer, w' Ohlins: I don't know of any alternate 'Factory' choices for current V7 model front ends. I had my dealer install a fully adjustable K-Tech front end before delivery. The result was a suspension system that is a treat to ride. Yes, there were adjustments - over a
2 week period.

If you don't buy hi-end MC's (hopefully getting decent suspension), do what you can for a better ride. The same thoughts should be applied to braking systems. On that same bike I asked Jim Hamlin to swap out the front caliper for a 4 pot radial and fully adjustable radial master cylinder.

That bike is 4 sale. I've aged out of 500# motor bikes. Not your ugly duckling, fake racer. 8K miles  R3~
