New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
NC - in 1981, I was an assistant manager in a drug store making $200 per week. I bought my first bike, a Kawasaki 250CSR (pretend cruiser). I bought a Nava Helmet (remember those, I think they morphed into Nolan) for myself and my wife for a week's pay ($100 each). I had done some reading but it simply seemed to make sense to me that if you came off, you had a better chance in a full face. The Nava did have a large face area with much better vision than the Bells and other full faces of the time. I have also found them to be quiet using ear plugs and of course there are advantages in rain and cold. All of the above applies to me only, no judgments just my opinion.
I figure if I am going to wear one it might as well give me the best protection, therefore full face. When I was young I wouldn't wear them because I hated having one on. As I have aged I am now wearing one in spite of my dislike.
And somebody said " Only wear as much helmet as your head is important " or words to that effect.
This is the 3/4 I just ordered. I’ve only rode in 1/2 helmets for 40 years. This brand advertises the smallest non mushroom helmets available. They actually use two shell sizes. One for small and medium and a larger shell for large and X large sizes.
I hope you like it! MotoP.S. If you don't, Bell's Custom 500 helmet uses five different shell sizes!
Full - Arai, family owned, hand made (mostly), Snell approved. When your as pretty as me, why take a chance?
Eldo Jon used to have three full face helmets hanging in the garage. All had serious rash on the chin bar. "You about always land head first.."
