I'll have to go back and test ride something.

blackcat · « **Reply #721 on:** March 24, 2021, 02:25:23 PM »

From a previous ride; a stand alone shoe repair shop preferably with an Italian name but not necessary.

New tag - a BBQ stand

john fish · « **Reply #724 on:** March 27, 2021, 11:39:18 AM »

Got it.

Out riding. New tag soon.

john fish · « **Reply #725 on:** March 27, 2021, 02:35:11 PM »

New tag. Masonic lodge (active or inactive). Here’s one in Kingwood West Virginia.

They’re all over the place in the East. Just look up for the symbols.

blackcat · « **Reply #726 on:** March 27, 2021, 04:50:45 PM »

The lodge near us looks very suspicious, every window has been bricked up. I will get a photo tomorrow unless i'm abducted.

Too late.

As usual image Gizmo at wild goose doesn't work well for me..

New tag, car on a pole.

Yay, it worked the first time this time..
No car on a pole? How about a buggy or a plane or some kind of machine?

70° today. The aero lario was awesome..

SED · « **Reply #729 on:** March 27, 2021, 10:26:42 PM »

Car on a post - mid 60s Falcon. Not to be confused with Falcone!

New tag is a drive-in if it's OK to use 1 picture for both?

Most interesting machine on a post I've seen was a WWII era radial engine. Looked like they used it to generate wind.

blackcat · « **Reply #730 on:** March 28, 2021, 09:51:36 AM »

Until they changed the law, one could get a mixed drink to go in that drive-thru.

Tag is a palm tree for Palm Sunday but any Easter religious symbol.

Dave_NWTrophy · « **Reply #732 on:** April 01, 2021, 11:12:16 PM »

Well, it took about six stops to find anything today. Most churches here are still holding remote services, and have not set anything up for Easter. I'll post the next tag tomorrow.

john fish · « **Reply #733 on:** April 02, 2021, 04:04:09 AM »

Good work, Dave. That one was unexpectedly tough around here, too.

Chuck in Indiana · « **Reply #734 on:** April 02, 2021, 06:05:12 AM »

Our "spring of deception" has passed, and it's back to winter here..

Dave_NWTrophy · « **Reply #735 on:** April 02, 2021, 02:56:26 PM »

Looking more like spring! At least 'round here anyway :-). Tag is spring or fall flowers, depending on where you are. Farms or wildflower blooms are preferable (cactus, etc.), but a nursery would work if you're in a larger city and the fields are too far. Something above rolling the bike out to your front garden.

Dave, are you in Skagit? That looks like Banchard hill in the background.

A little further south, Sumner, looking north. Couldn't make it all the way to Skagit today, but maybe later this month :-) .

Chuck in Indiana · « **Reply #742 on:** April 04, 2021, 04:13:11 PM »

For the tag, how about some hippie art?

Tom H · « **Reply #743 on:** April 04, 2021, 05:26:53 PM »

Is that art or graffiti? That tag would be WAY too easy where I live. You can find graffiti just about anywhere

Tom

Chuck in Indiana · « **Reply #744 on:** April 04, 2021, 06:44:34 PM »

Naa, no graffiti allowed. Gotta be hippie. Rainbows, peace signs, etc.

Not that graffiti isn't art. We went to a special showing of graffiti at the Indy art museum. There are famous graffiti artists. <shrug>

New Tag.. round barn.

Kind of a failed labor saving experiment. Cows could be in stalls all around the barn, and hay dropped from the center to feed them. Good idea, but certainly more expensive to build.
I checked, and they are in Yurp

too, but if one is too hard to find, how about an unusual barn..
