Put a piece of tape over it on dash. Seriously, I changed out several ECU's back then on mostly V7C's that would not reset the errors.
The bike ran fine, get triangle. You see the error "Mute Knot" then it doesn't communicate to reset. You can read what it's doing in real time but doesn't talk to ECU to reset anything. I used Axone from dealership and TechnoResearch software. I'll bet I swapped out 10  15RC's that were like that.  The thing is the bike would run fine & you could tune it.

Thanks Steve.  I've slowly been coming to that conclusion.  I heard from lots of vehicle owners who's car, truck, or motorcycle does the same.  I had a Suzuki Sidekick that did the same, as does my 2016 KTM Duke 690.

I've mostly been interested in getting it fixed from the standpoint of making it easier to sell the bike.  Nice bike, but does not suit my fancy as much as other bikes I already own.

The Nevada has lots of charm, just not as much function as I would prefer.  At least now I think I understand the Guzzi appeal more.

You may get software working and experience this issue.    I bought a MyECU for my EV when I needed one. It's the cats meeow if you like that sort of thing.
Nevada's are comfortable riding bikes I always thought, easily modified to look different if you like.
