weather permitting  ,  I'm voting for Sunday , if both days are equally good . 

If both days are BAD weather wise, I will try the following weekend (22-23 Feb) and if that is bad weather too, we will just skip the February Meet and Greet and go with the next one (March) at Two wheels of Suches on the 21st of March at 12:00 noon.

Its hard to beat the weather sometimes!  Hoping for good weather on 15 and 16 February!

Did you ride the RE all the way to Florida ?   

I saw the video of the guy who bought one in Seattle then rode it home to Alaska , But I couldn't ask him about the trip !

UPDATE!  Now the weather forecast has changed for Tellico Plains on 9 Feb 2020.  Now they are calling for Sunny skies and 64 degrees for a high!  That's warm enough for me.  The weather report keeps changing hourly for that day and I am watching it.

What I will do is post a confirmed decision tomorrow (Thursday) based off of the weather forecast then for 9 Feb at 12 noon, at Tellico Kats.

No, I need to carry too much for work and play for these extended stays.

I have blackout curtains in the truck bed with a platform to sleep on. 

I used to ride bikes to Florida with the smallest being the Versys 650.  Now the back won't let me endure that kind of riding so I have to choose quality over quantity.  Good thing I got in my touring when I could.

Oh Oh...slow air leak on rear tire on Stelvio again.  I think it might be a bad valve stem but I am not sure yet.  Gonna try to get it fixed today.  If it doesn't get fixed Il still be at the met and greet tomorrow at noon.  (But in a cage).  Hope some of you can also make it.  See ya.  Bob

I have no idea!!!  But we got about 4 inches so far here!

Well one rider was brave enough to battle the 30 degree morning temperatures and ride in to tellico Kats for lunch.  Kyle gets the hardy, tough rider award. 

We had a great lunch and then went up to Bald River falls to check its status with all the rain we have been getting.  Sorry nobody else came but that’s the way it goes. 

March’s is at Two Wheels of Suches and I’ll be staying there for the weekend.  Lunch is on Saturday at noon (21 March). 
Anybody planning on going to that one or is it getting to be time we stopped these Meet and Greets due to lack of interest?  I’ll have to think about this I guess.  Oh well, we had a good time!

It's not a lack of interest, it's a lack of fortitude!  Like any outdoor activity, scheduling something a month ahead of time is entirely up to Mother Nature.

Bob , Keep putting meets on the calendar .    I really wanted to wake up to ridding weather , it just didn't show up !   My thermometer was reading 23 F at time for me to leave .   I do hope to be able to make the March Meet .

If nothing else, I enjoy reading the posts and thoughts of getting together even if I am stuck out of town for work. 


Maybe I will have somewhat of a break the end of March.

I won’t stop planning them.  Weather will improve and people’s schedules will free up somewhat.  Ride safe and hope for good March weather!
