I figure you mean an aluminum one on TOP of the o-ring one.

technically that might be UNDER  the "O-Ring" ,  after installed  :smiley:

I have just discovered that a company in England sells a stainless steel replacement for the smallblock final drive breather cap. Because my original cap failed to breathe and caused a gear oil leak from my final drive, I ordered one of the stainless ones. It's Chris Shaw Engineering in the UK. Cost me about $30.
