Gosh, so many memories of Mike showing me the RIGHT way to put on decals and pronounce MOTO GUZZI properly. And helping my ignorant butt get my Ambassador right. May God bless you, Mike, Alice and Sherry.

Harper's is my go to when I need to service my bikes.
Once I called them at 3 in the afternoon. Wanted the gaskets and Uni filter. It was on my stoop before noon.
Let me contrast to my Suzuki. I go to the dealer and the parts will be here the following Thursday, that might be 13 days later. Then I still have to go to the Suzuki store.
I've order parts in Wisconsin and Houston, they've come through as well. I usually start in KC. Drove there once, it's not in town. He was as kind as he could be on Saturday afternoon when Mike was on his tractor.
Good folks.
Folks like Mike and Curtis and Luap and Dusty and MPH and MG and Chuck and Pete and Docc and many more have kept these ol' Guzzsis a goin'.
I don't know if it's a calling or a vocation.
Ride, Captain, Ride.

Hey Harper's, Happy 50th.
Quite a milestone, and I remember when I hit the half century mark and it was a jolt!
Thanks for the service and good savy on keeping my old CX going, hope it makes it to the big 50 as well.
Many cheers...:-)

Congratulations. Well deserved in my book.
I have regularly ordered various things from you guys over the years, but I’m hardly a high $ volume customer. What always amazed me was that I would often get a personal phone call from Curtis explaining the situation and handling my order.
“Hey, we have all your stuff except one bit. Want us to ship what I’ve got now or hold off?”
“Hey, I noticed you ordered 3 gizmos. You probably only need 2 gizmos to do that job. Do you maybe want the third for a spare, or was that a typo?”
That is amazing service. Heck, I need to ride up and meet you guys in person

Well deserved, indeed. Thank you for being there- for all of us.
I still have a mid-1980's receipt from some parts I bought off you. Still hurts my wallet. Bike still runs though...

congratulations Mike and Curtis, you guys are top notch folks!
On a couple occasions I got a phone call out of the blue from Mike Harper after Mike read one of my many posts asking for help with something I was working on and each time Mike quickly diagnosed the issue, gave me excellent advice and encouragement. ... and Mike was calling long distance to Canada and took a lot of time to talk me through the issue.
I have never had a better experience than dealing with Mike and Curtis.
50 years doing anything well is exceptional, doing something that serves enthusiasts that are sometimes considered to be cheap for 50 years is on a whole other level.
Thank You!

Congratulations.
Won't forget my first stop at Harper's about 10 years ago. Driving my truck back from Iowa to Arizona, I stopped by to pick up some parts and fairing for a CalVin I was repairing. My GPS wasn't quite right about the location and as I drove along a lonely country road suddenly it said " You have arrived at your destination". I looked around and saw nothing that resembled a motorcycle shop. Probably wouldn't have found it yet if I hadn't spotted the old v-twin motor by the mail box. As I recall Mike told me he didn't have much faith in those GPS things anyway. Think I still have the shirt I picked up that day and I'll stop by to pick up another when it gets a bit warmer.
I'll be by in May on the Norge this time.

Harpers and I go back a looong time. Put on your bucket list that you will go visit their place. Be thankful the driveway is now paved.
Here is to another 50,

Fair warning....I'll be out to visit in a couple weeks. No, I won't be writing two checks but I will have cash!

Congratulations to Harper’s! Now would be an awesome time for some official recognition from Piaggio to Harper’s for 50 years of support for Moto Guzzi.

Well now, that is an accomplishment, a hearty congratulations to you Curtis and Mike!
I've only had to order a handful of parts for my Cali, and Harpers is the only place I bother calling.
They have what I need, and maybe I could find a better deal somewhere, but the search would eat into my precious time, the savings would be minimal, the parts would be questionable, and there's no question if anyone else could match their service... the short answer is no.
That said, the best part, for me, was calling Curtis on the phone, and being new to Guzzis, I did not know the names of the parts. I slowly explained what the part did, and where it was located, and Curtis knew EXACTLY what I was looking at, and got me the pieces I needed and they shipped quick! With service like that... the customer keeps coming back, and more importantly, tells their friends.
So congratulations of running a successful business, gentlemen, and thank you!

Congrats to Mike and Curtis. And even Curtis' mom! IIRC, when I commented to Curtis that the lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely charming, and had a great attitude and sense of humor, Curtis informed me that was his mother.
Curtis has been invaluable to me as a Moto Guzzi (however you pronounce it) virgin! Very patient, kind, and the epitome of much needed knowledge.
50 years is indeed a great accomplishment, but I suspect that Curtis being the man he is, Mike (and Curtis's Mom) have an even more impressive accomplishment of which they are proud.
thanks,
Ed

Quite a few years ago now, when I jumped back into motorcycles, specifically my MG CX100, which was the first and only guzzi I had seen in the flesh at that point, one of the luckiest and best things I did was place a phone call to Harpers.
I'm not naturally mechanically inclined, and at that time I knew zero about guzzis; Curtis quizzed me on my bike and very patiently and logically walked me through a "to do" list of things to take care of, on my then 30 yr old motorcycle.
Congrats to the Harpers, 50 yrs at anything is an amazing accomplishment, for guzzis it's off the charts; they set the bar high, and walk the walk,.
Very well done Sirs!
