I have always thought the same. Thanks for all the comments.

Follow the upper most pinstripes on the gas tank from the side and i see that flow into the front scoop of seat. It’s a reverse curve frequently used all over Italian design. The rear of the seat from the back and side echoes and flows with the thickness and height of the rear fender. The exhaust header pipe and muffler echo the hidden frame rails at the top, invisibly drawing a horizontal line for the eye to rest on. functionality of two seats is accented by the carefully drawn curves from the side, top, and rear views. There a very few wasted lines without some hint of Leonardo DeVinci himself pulling the pen across paper. There are very few straight lines, easy to manufacture but ugly to the eye. I’d love to see a loop as a technical drawing poster of the original pen and ink drawing, 30/40”. But yeah, it looks good, too..dual seat. Solo is a nice American try at matching centuries of artistry within 🇮🇹.
Sigh..but the solo felt better on my v700...so there you go..👍
