Bump..

Also, there was mention of front fenders....
Any thoughts on front wheel mudguards being sold on ebay for $50?  I see some of youse are removing the OE front fender for an aftermarket full fender that mounts in close proximity to the tire.  I'm asking because I'm interested in trying to keep the alternator cover from getting road blasted to looking nasty.

Thanks,
Art

search around for Aprillia Caponord (i think spelling is right?) fender. I have one bought from another guzzi owner.

Tried it without the OEM fender but ended up putting it back on and running both.

You will need the fender extender (fender extenda) to keep the alternator cover clean. I have one new in a bag and am close to your location!

I'm in Painesville but get around Lake Co and surrounding areas frequently!

Yeah, so I was contemplating one of those mudguard things.  I've seen them offered fo $45.  Anyone have any experience with them?  Do they work?  I do have some apprehension about the hardware.....replac ing the factory caliper mount bolts with what they supply.

Sorry but it looks horrible for mine. Looks like what it is, an $80 muffler solution. Horizontal mufflers are a bit 50's Pommie bike. Like an old Norton International.

Phil

Trouble is low silencers give a usable pillion seating position and easy luggage solutions for people who want to do KM/miles.

Of course high pipes: look messy, look ugly, make rear wheel removal or caliper servicing hard, mean no pillion and no luggage.

So thats a win for high pipes???? yeahNah!
