That is the model and color bike I have photos of on my computer from before I bought my first Guzzi.  I don't do Facebook.  Can you ask him if he has records of it being rollerized?

Not been rollorized, owners says that it works good, doesn't need it.  Well at that price, perhaps still a good deal.  Wonder if one could assess if there is any damage that could be determined?  I know someone here will say, "just ride it..."  thanks a bunch....

This Griso in Tenni Green w/ a brown saddle is one of the finest looking bikes I have ever seen, but I am a bit biased I suppose...

Who ever buys this bike they DO NOT want to just ride it. As the former owner of a 2012 Stelvio I can assure you it must be rollered. I did the mod on mine at around 9k miles and found very obvious DLC loss on the flat tappets and blueing on the cam lobes when I pulled the cam boxes. The bike was running fine and showed no issues. Valve settings were stable. This bike is well worth picking up and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it but I would plan on doing a rollerizaron ASAP when I did. The only way to determine the condition of the tappets and cams is to pull the cam box flip it over and look at the parts. You cannot see what is going on with the boxes in place. Once you pull the boxes and check you will be glad you did.

IF ................... I currently owned a Black Devil or a flat black and orange rollered Griso. I'd be tempted to buy this beauty, swap bodywork and saddle to my rollered bike, and do the rollerization in my own good time.  I'm sure it would take some time working back and forth with Piaggio to get a break on the roller kit, if they're still doing it.

One of the reasons I really like Tenni models/trim is the homage that Moto Guzzi pays to Omobono Tenni.  The Black Devil has been dead for over 70 years, but his name still stirs emotions.

I don't regret selling my Tenni Griso SE for the V7 III but there are days I do miss the pretty beast. Maybe I'll paint my V7 Tenni Green...

I still don't understand why they did not match the seat and tail piece better. That over hanging seat just turns me off.Other than that is is a stunning bike.

Do I recall Pete doing one or more rollerizations, and performing some sort of complete engine flushings, to assure any DLC particles had been flushed from oil passageways?

Pete did several of them and he did call for flushing the oil cooler and a sump clean out to go along with it. Guzzi just called for an oil and filter change. He also posted a very good tutorial with pics for the do it yourselfers. I used it to do mine. A search of the archives should turn it up.

I can't believe the low prices south of the border, seems to be a buyers market right now.

interesting to watch how that bike plays out.

Depends on the bike and the seller.  I have seen a few Triumphs go for thousands over NADA full retail value.  I have seen many bikes listed for outrageous prices also.  A motivated seller will usually price between low and full retail value.

Had a Corbin gun fighter on my Griso which took care of that 'problem'.
