V9 Roamer Leather Saddlebags

In work -  a set of the Pony Express 103+2 saddlebags from Learherworks, Inc in Stockton, CA.  Excellent thick leather from Texas cows, made in California.

This is the mock up on the right side.  Attachment is a set of Hepco Becker C-Bows.  They fit up perfectly with the HB rear rack.

They're smaller, in person.  Only five inches deep.

Just lovely.  An excellent match for your Roamer.  With that quality leather you probably don't need a backing for the C-bow plastic mounts.

For my V7 III I went with the Givi tail rack because the H&B "kickup" would interfere with my Givi Monolock top case.

But your riding environment will be different than mine.  The V7 will be my Urban Assault Vehicle where locks keep stuff from wandering away.  For the RE I use the H&B Legacy bags and a magnetic tack bag because mountain folks respect property lines.

Yesss I luv the way the saddlebags are tucked in close and the flowing line from the tank to the tail bag.  Great front/rear balance too.  The saddlebags really flatter the Roamer.  Great ROI on an expensive purchase.  Nice picture framing too -- green grass with aged concrete.  We need two more pictures sans saddlebags -- side and rear.  Thanks.

For those who are new to the C-Bow system, the motorcycle-side C is aluminum while the sidecase-side C is plastic.  The two are a tight fit where the plastic C flexs out as needed which results in an upward squeezing tendency.  When you mount your sidecases (1) make sure the two Cs are fully mated and (2) make sure you turn the key to the LOCK position to keep the two Cs from coming apart.  It's easy to skip doing this...until you lose an expensive sidecase and its contents...then you'll always remember.  Yes BTDT.

The V9 and V7 III mounting points are different.  I like the V9 better.

Now that's a sweet rig! ^^^^^ I used to ride a buddies KZ900 with a 4 into 1 header, that thing would send the angus into a stampede a 1/2 mile ahead of you. Scare the SHIT out of 'em! Ought to be an emogee for that
