I keep modifying the nose of my V7III, and I wanted to share this latest evolution with y'all as it is my favorite so far.

I am back to using the Dart Piranha with the filed down brackets for extra rearward lean, and the door edge guard for smoother airflow, but this time I lowered the headlight bracket as far as you can go while still having the headlight properly aligned. You will need to reroute/re-tape some of the wiring (small modification, just replacing tape and zip ties, no cutting), but the result is great in my humble opinion. No buffeting from the screen, but your torso gets a pleasant reduction in wind blast. With the headlight lowered, the bike gains a more aggressive stance. With the Dart Piranha lowered it looks less like having a shovel head stuck to the bike, and it allows the offset speedometer (which I think is a cool design feature) to remain slightly visible while at the same time giving the instruments protection from bugs, debris, and rain.

I hope this is interesting to some of you! Please let me know if I can provide any advice to somebody who tries to do something similar, I'd be glad to help.
If you are wondering why & how I modified the Dart Piranha (brackets & door edge guard), I explain it in my video review here:
