Buy It Now is $7800

Very rare, original bike. One of very few sold in the US. Has been in storage for over 25 years. I have owned this bike since 1978.

The front brake does not appear to be a stock double sided front drum

I have actually owned two Moto Morini's. The first one I bought from a guy ins Stillwater Oklahoma back when I was in college. I called about an add in the paper (remember those?) He said "do you know what it is?" And i said "yes, it is a little v-twin motorcycle." It seemed that everyone that called thought it was a moped. I must have gotten it for cheap because I was a poor student at the time. They are fantastic bikes.

That's the bike that I most regret never having owned. The dealership next to the laundrette I frequented in the mid 70s had a Strada in blue and a Sport in red wheel to wheel in the window. But unfortunately, I was just starting out on the path of house ownership, and that was taking all my cash.
Ten years later a biker came into a law centre in which I was holding a clinic. When I found out that he had a Morini parked outside I told him the fee was to let me ride it round the block. It was a great ride, once I had mastered the left foot kick start.

great little bikes, bought a scrappy one in 1983 for scrap value to run in the winter instead of the V7sport.
I have been having a couple of them around ever since .

over here you couldnt give the away until 10 years ago, great to see them considered classics now
mine turned into a bit of a bitza in 37 years of ownership.

For the cognoscenti here: is this a real Sport (vs Strada)? No rear sets. In my Googling it seems some early Stradas had an “S” engine stamp. Non OEM front brake also adds to the uncertainty.

Did you notice the description of the title?  The bike may be a previous wreck or built from a pile of parts and  then issued a title....It might be just fine, but a vehicle with a reconstructed of salvage title is usually devalued...

hard to tell what is original and what not
the lack of rearsets can be ok , in 1976 they were not fitted.
the front brake and the dashboard are not original, so it might or might not have had some front end damage ,
or the owner preferred the yamaha front end
the rest looks like it would  fit a 1976 350 sport.
but guessing what happened in the last 45 years is a challenge...

on top of that , morini was a tiny factory , they used whatever they had in stock, so if they ran out of strada engines they fitted sport engines.
same with color schemes , they had the paintwork done around the corner , so paint schemes and colors are pretty random

Years ago I bought a 350S, that was well used and had been a race bike. It had no ID plate or numbers on the frame so I could not get it registered. Did ride it up and down the street. Very cool bikes. I should have kept the strada I got with it.
