V50ii refresh
« on: August 16, 2020, 04:41:46 PM »
I’m doing a light refresh on a v50ii which may end up my daughter’s ride.  I dug into it today and installed a new Avon rear tire and rear brake pistons, seals and pads.  While in there I derusted and primed the battery tray and surrounding frame sections.  Next up rebuilding the front brakes, replacing the front tire and installing a Spiegler  brake line kit.  Carbs are disassembled and going to the vapor honer. Here are a couple of pics.  I really like the build quality of this bike.

Hopefully a two week job if all goes well. Best to all.
