After 2 hours I have determined that the "quick disconnect" fuel fitting is neither quick nor will it disconnect. I'm going to cut the fuel line and use a BMW metal disconnect, or just a brass barb union fitting. Anyone know the ID of the line running from the notsoquick nodisconnector to the Y branch going to each injector? I'm hoping that I can get by with a splice, using FI rated hose clamps.
Any advice would be appreciated. Except any advice telling me that the best way is to use the factory disconnect. That may be met with violence. Thanks.
