If there is a version that will work then I think you would be happy with it. I will say though, it is only the one side, meaning you don't get a matching bar end weight for the other side. (If that matters to you.)
There are a number of lesser expensive options that work well, but I'll comment on what you asked about. I put one of these on my V7III that I recently bought. I have, in the past, used the Throttlemeister on a LeMans I had. I am not sure why, but I found it difficult to actuate and eventually removed it and sold it. By comparison, the Kaoko unit seems easier to palm to either tighten or loosen. In my case, they make one that matches the bar end on the left bar. Even with the wrist thing on the grip, I'm able to roll my hand over and get it where I want. It holds well and no matter how tight I have tried it, I can still easily roll the throttle closed. (There is a limit to how tight I want to try since I would be concerned about damaging the throttle tube so basically, it is a non issue. As I have used it over several hundred miles now, I find it easier and easier to use.
I realize everyone is different. Others might not care for it. You might not like it.
Honestly it was not my first choice, as my use of the TM turned me off to this type of lock, but I'm glad I got it. Would I but it again? Yep.
