New Moto, finally!
« on: September 17, 2020, 05:58:27 PM »
It took forever to get insurance on the old bike sorted, but I finally picked up my new V85 TT Adventure to replace the one that chappy in the Mercedes SUV took out last June. Hurray!  Life is good!

This time I decided to go with McDonald's rather than Coast Guard.

If all goes as planned, I'll bolt some engine bars on tomorrow and start wracking up miles for that (900 mile!!!) break in period this weekend.

Yup, Ronald McD gets lots of compliments where ever I park her.  FYI, getting her back tomorrow with new tires.  The Anakees went 9,000.  There was still tread and some would have taken them to 10,000, but I am conservative about tire wear.

Thanks for the info on the Anakees.  I had 3800 miles on the old bike when it got SUVed, and judging from tread wear, I figured they'd be good for 9000.  Thanks for confirming this!

With these colors, I'm already getting comments about happy meals.  Here are the official Guzzi color options and the real color options from the ADVRider forum
