New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I assumed it was done to add more to the ‘bob’ mentality. Or maybe they ran low on their budget for plastics. I think it looks doofy as well. Orrr... maybe they did it on purpose so that folks feel super DIY genius when they insert an aluminum mesh there. Something like this...Lord knows the V9 is a model already whimpering from the beatdown by the ugly stick. Yes, that’s an opinion, but it’s also scientific fact.
The only point you're right about is that it supports the Bobber style. Forgive me, but the rest seems a bit nonsensical to me.Otherwise: https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_info.php?products_id=442543CiaoLars
The side covers have not changed, they have been the same since inception. Only the v9 Sport has the larger covers.Roamer, Bobber never anything but the short style.
I was looking at some new V9s in the dealership today.Whats with the side covers, they only cover the top half of the triangle leaving the battery case and air box exposed, it looks half done.I don't remember the early V9s like that. There's got to be a market for an add-on to tidy that up.Sorry, its sideways
I totally agreeThe other annoying thing is the solo seat If you run it solo - you end up with a stupid untidy bolt sticking out of the mudguard and if you leave the pillion seat on it goes over the edge of the riders seat so without brute force you can't get the rider seat off
On the bolt issue. Depending on what it does and required strength. You could use something like a stainless socket style button style head bolt. You could even find the dress up plug that goes in it.Tom
