I enjoyed doing that for the first 3 years after moving to Vancouver from Ottawa , then one afternoon on my way home from workit started snowing ( rather a scarce occasion here) and it continued to snow and snow . Took an eternity to finish the last 5 kilometers .Snow from my feet to my knees when I finally arrived home ! So I don't do that anymore . PeterYep , I'm jealous !

I managed to do that a few years ago - up here in interior British Columbia! I do seem to remember falling off at least once, though (not a Guzzi - my wife's XS250).
I have the opposite issue, I have to remember to drive the Jeep. Since retirement only 2Kmi a year. I find it normal to ride.
Inditx- I live 180 miles south of you, I never "winterize" a bike, I just ride 'em! It's 9 days to the winter solstice, days will start getting longer!
Been doing that for years here in Colorado Springs. I think I might have missed one or two months in the last five years.
I guess you do! You're living in the middle of Georgia. Think back to your older days in the Chicago area. Bet if you were there, you wouldn't be forgetting to drive the Jeep! Still have great memories of my fly and ride to Dahlonega in 2012 to take delivery of the Griso, and the ride back to Cleveland Ohio. Steve, best wishes for a wonderful holiday season.Bob
If is very rare that there is a month goes by that I don’t at least take a neighborhood ride 12 months out of 12
I remember crashing the Jeep drunk and having only 3 wheels in winter for 4yrs in IL. I was in the process of combining 2 Jeeps to 1 when I moved to GA. All I had here were bikes no Jeep till 07.
We solar heated the whole state. Only heavy rain days are a no go. We do get snow too. (Hawaii) Although I rode all year round when I live in PA, NJ & AZ.
looking at a foot and half by tomorrow. Riding season ends when they start salting the roads.
