New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I used to sell those jackets waaaayyy back in the seventies...excelle nt quality...
You can never have enough leather jackets. I have a couple of horsehide jackets and went down in my Hillside leather horsehide on the Eldo and hardly a scratch! But what I really like is Lost World's jackets out of New York.
Tell me Dan, are you partial to black leather jackets?I have sold as many jackets as I currently own. I have 12' of closet space dedicated to riding gear. I only have one plain black leather jacket and it is perforated leather.
Actually TWA I’m really not, it just seems that’s about all that’s comes available for me. I would love to find a good quality US made riding leather jacket in brown but the price tag would be in the hundreds. And probably unconsciously I may lean towards black nuff because of my era, I’m 68, black was just the norm for motorcycle style jackets as was the slant breasted style.
Understandable. I was one of those Florida riders who only wore a jacket or FF helmet or gloves or shoes because of cold weather. I did own a 1960s mandarin collar leather jacket bought in the early 80s that I had to manually resew all the seams due to dry rot. Lost it in a house fire in 2003.
I’m PM you, I’ve a question about re sowing a jacket

Hey, if any of you fat bastards are looking to get rid of your jackets, I'm about a size 40...
I just wanted to let you all know I deleted that post. I was totally joking, but apparently intent doesn't matter much these days. I am sorry if anyone was really offended, but I'm guessing there were at least a couple of you that realized I meant no harm.
My old Schott from the '70's (brag, brag, brag).
I've got a Hein Gericke of similar design to your Excelled. It is very heavy leather. Great jacket, but no pads, so I don't wear it anymore.
