New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I have checked it out, in fine shape. The initial listing was at $3700, dropped the price to $3400, I mentioned one sold two weeks ago in the area for 3k, asked me if I wanted it, I got no room so there is your report.
Nice bike. I know if I bought, not that anyone asked, but it would take 1500 bucks min to get it up to spec. New fork guts (Gold valve), a new rear shock is a must ( it's 14 years old and no matter how many miles it toast), all fluids, new bearings, and hopefully the brake/clutch containers are not gunked up from non attention. Then, a Hamlin crank case breather modification to keep all the CRAP from being recycled thru the motor. Don't laugh. If you ever saw the condition of the blow by trapped in the filter you'd faint. It's an incredibly nasty emulsion of oil and water. Jim has the answer. Not hard to do but a bit time consuming.I know, I know. Nobody asked. An unsolicited .02 worth. Carry on.
Ooooooh, I wish it was east of the Mississippi.
Do they still have a bridge over the Mississippi ?
If everyone waits long enough it will be.The course of rivers do move over millenia. Do they still have a bridge over the Mississippi ?
Jeez King.New bearings ? Mine has just on 200,000 and has never seen a bearing. Original fork seals. Original clutch...etc.I just wipe my filter box out during the service when I install the new air filter...Not hard.I’d just fly there, check the fluids and ride it home. Drop all the fluids when I pull in the shed then go inside.Fabulous bike.Just ride it and give it what it wants when it asks...
