Does anyone know if MG still offers roadside assistance? I know when I bought my stelvio in 2011, they had it but when I bought the V85, nothing was said.Didnt see anything current online about, i think ducati offers it though...
All you have to do it look it up on Guzzi web site, the answer is no.
Most good insurance companies have a road side assistance that comes with, or can be added to the policy. Mine is like $5 or $10 a year additional.
In PA State Farm does not offer roadside assistance or towing for motorcycles. Geico did but was about $635 more per motorcycle per year.
Roada sidea assistance?
Guido was funny Dusty
Gotta admit, I cracked myself up on that one during happy hour with Max.
For those of you who liked Father Guido Sarducci, have you ever read his book? The actor character is Don Novello. He compiled a book called the "Lazlo Toth Letters". If you are unaware, one whacked out Laszlo Toth attacked Michelangelo's statue of the Pieta with a hammer in 1972! Novello wrote letters around the world to famous persons and corporations under the penname of Laszlo Toth. He would ask for autographed photographs or perhaps some sample of production goods. The compiled letters are hysterical and very few ever caught on about the author's name. Find it through your local library. One memorable communication involved a complaint to a bubble bath company. The box containing the powdered soap had a printed caution to "keep dry" and he couldn't figure out how to make the bubbles! The company replied with serious instructions.Patrick HayesFremont CA
Progressive was under $20.00 for 4 bikes???
What good is it?Any time I have ever had any involvement with roadside assistance, it was more of a hassle then it was worth. It makes you FEEL like someone is there to help, but they seldom are.
It has worked for me and my friends. Maybe it is a southern thing. People are just more friendly and helpful down here.
Partial update: The bike was put on the computer and nothing came up so its a problem that isnt "fault coded"Could be many things but I suppose they use a logical order when a bike wont start and it doesnt come up on the computer....
Just went out, popped off seat connections are all tight, fuses in place, bike cranks over and sounds like it wants to go, all gauges light up but like i said earlier, there is an ever so faint sound of what sounds like metal on metal....
