color options - Show your colors!

As fate would have it, I have 3 black motorcycles. A black GRiSO, 1200 Sport, and Convert. I want to paint at least one, and if I paint the Griso or 12S, it will likely be the stock red. I think the Griso would look great in a candy apple red too.

The Convert is the one I can't decide on, but leaning towards Irish Green. Interested to see others.

So as the title says, show your colors on these bikes (other than black lol)

I don't have either of those, but red is almost always the preferred option for an Italian bike

The obvious answer is buy another motorcycle in a color other than black. Saves all that sanding, priming and paint prep.

Use a budget of say 10 grand. If the wife asks tell her I said its was alright.

I wouldn’t touch the Griso or Sport.  Vert is a blank canvas, and tins are easily removed.  I love the DARK “Racer” green.  My former Eldo had it, and I reupholstered the seat in tan. And your black cavernous bags would still work. 

I had a corvette in the same color combo.  Tan interior and top.  Almost looks black till it’s in the sun.

Back before my Guzzi Days, I had a red white and blue collection. Still have the XS bikes, but FJR is long gone.









I love my Guzzi's but black is getting old. The red on those Breva 750's is what I was thinking about for the GRiSO.

I was also thinking about a ghost American flag on the Convert Saddlebags, with the unit
Logos from all my Army units along the bottom.
Would run chrome fenders and red tank (same as the classic V7 red) bags and side covers.
With white and blue pinstripes on the tank and covers and back to the bag lids.

+1 for the ice blue.  Paired with the flat black top section it looks good:







I fretted for months choosing a color for my G5 and ended up going with traditional black with white stripes.
