Some of you guys who reckon your tyres don’t need balancing might need a better balancing apparatus.
I have almost always needed to add some weights, but sometimes very little.

As for beads..?
The mentality behind using them is perfectly understandable...(they make you feel better).
I don’t want to know why you THINK they work, I do want to know HOW they work.
Also, if your wheel thrashes at speed because it is out of round and not concentric..( not necessarily the same thing), then you can add beads as long as your arse points towards the earth and you’ll not succeed.

That's what happens when you keep wasting money on expensive tyres .

This took 30 seconds to settle, would y’all have called it near enough ?

Direct proof that you did not use my Georgia Air in your tires, did you.

Pete, r u static balancing?
A good static balancing system will indicate even the slightest heavy spot to the bottom. However I’m not sure it’s enough to be noticeable at times👍

I replaced the read tire on my 2015 V7 over a month ago. I put balancing beads in the tire but I left the original wheel weights on it. I have never felt so much as a wiggle.

This past weekend I replaced the rear on my 2012 Yamaha Raider... put a big arse 240 rear on her. I did not remove the original wheel weights. I bought balancing beads and planned on putting them in if I felt any issue. I rode into work today and didn't notice any wiggle, jiggle, or bada-bada-bump.

Assuming the weights are more for balancing the WHEEL and not the TIRE, my laziness of keeping the original weights on the wheels was probably a good thing.

YMMV

Yep Dusty.
I’ve always wasted my money on expensive helmets and lights too...I’ll never learn.

And what was that tire doing to the bike when ridden?
Mostly keeping the front rim from crashing into the roadway and remaining silk smooth at any speed.

What appears in the video is what I always do Dan.
You’re correct that sometimes it’s not noticeable...(and other times it certainly is..).

You're right, I need at least cold weather and hot weather styles.

Perhaps a subscription service, like Fruit of the Month club.  Nothing says repeat business like a monthly subscription.  I mean April's formula can't be expected to perform in July's conditions...
