Had a 4 day trip away on the Breva last weekend. Pix will follow in due course - might be a while, but I can say that it was a superb trip with amazing scenery, the Breva (new to me to replace the previous Breva!) performed excellently and I might even like the big screen. Pictures were taken with an Olympus 35RC, which is a small rangefinder of excellent quality. We stayed in Llanbedr just down the coast from Harlech, in a luxury camping pod, cooked our own breakfasts and dinners. Last nights dinner was partaken outside in the sun on the deck, and was steak and pork loins with a pepper cream sauce, fried tomatoes (and Jeff had field mushrooms and asparugus as well). Followed by cheese and crackers, red wine, beer, and madeira cake.
Probably the highlights were;
The road from Bala to Llanfair Ffestinog.
Riding a circuit of Snowdon up to Beddgelert, over to thr Pen-y-pass, up towards Caernarfon and back past Salem and Ryd-dhu.
290 miles up
274 riding around on Saturday and Sunday
350 back with a detour around the Elan Valley.
I'll definately go back. Bach.
