WOW! Thunder and lightening going on 3+ hours with only a few drops of rain. Since nightfall the light show has been spetactular, but no rain. Wind just coming up now.

Finally, here comes de rain. Appears to be a typical mid-summer thunderstorm with no real damage threat just a lot of thunder and lightening and if lucky a rain cloud overhead.

The storm got wound up by the time it reached us.  Lots of power outages in mid/south St. Louis.  We got 1.2 inches of rain just west of STL.
It sure brought some welcome relief in temperature!  It has been hot here.

All the days are running together here in central NC. Hot and humid days, evening thunderstorms and steam after the storms pass.
Not a fan of summer in the south.
