I think it is fairly well done. I'm not a chopper guy but have seen hundreds far less tidy and thoughtful than this...All in the eye of the beholder...not ugly to my eye just not my style

I actually think the Peterbilt is pretty darn cool, I mostly started the thread so I could see if there were any other Centauro haters out there. I feel like I'm the only one.

Looks better than a Nevada, that's one ugly SOB to me. There's a John Deer green Guzzi out here somewhere that's pretty cool too! Used to see it @ rallies

When I first saw a Centauro, I thought it was "interesting looking" but didn't hate it. After owning one for a short period a few years ago, I can say that I definitely like the way they look, at least in certain colors and with the small fairing and belly pan.

lol. every time I see a pic of a Centauro, it reminds me of a Hayabusa, which to me is probably the ugliest bike of all time. It's that butt end that ruins it for me.

Peter's been bringing the Peterbuilt to Sunday coffee lately, it always attracts a lot of interest, unlike most choppers its quite functional.
Has a softail rear end, note the mounting of the alternator below the tank.

I’d be more interested in the yellow Guzzi chopper than nearly anything in the entire Guzzi 2021 offerings.

I don't know that there is much squinting required when looking at the butt ends of these two bikes :boozing:

I saw this bike at a West coast rally couple years ago. I too thought it was ugly until I took a closer look. Very fine detail work can't be seen unless you get intimate with it!

I like both the hayabusa and the centauro.

I'm not a fan of yellow, especially "Fly Yellow" as found on ferraris and the centauro.

Only yellow bikes I can appreciate are the Ducati Superlight and the '95-96 triumph daytona

Betty...just out of curiosity what bikes DO you think are good looking?

Always thought the Centauro was a looker. But like someone else mentioned previously in a color other than yellow.

That’s true for some riders…. OTOH my Daytona RS with helibars is both vastly better looking and for me more comfortable. Win win

Jokes aside, Centauros look right with a rider mounted and given the name I think that was the intent.  A rider balances the bike visually much better than when parked.

This is a pic from the first long trip I took on it with my wife in 2008 , quite a piece from home here in Vancouver B.C . It's got
over 33,000 miles on it and has been really reliable , considering the motor , and trans were from accumulated pieces I got
on Ebay over the years . The softtail suspension I used turned out to be (along with the rather long swingarm) probably the
most comfortable riding bike I've been on (B.S luck :) ) . And the frame is only .090" thick steel tubing , so in spite of it's appearance
it's only a bit over 500 lbs . And nobody can say they didn't see me coming  . Peter

Absolutely awesome build Peter. I think the MG is the most difficult bike to customize other than to a cafe, and you’ve done it so well.  I was heading that way with my G5 and didn’t feel that I could pull it off so I steered back to mostly stock.  You’ve got the chops and cajones to do it right.

Don`t like the chopper much, never do, but the Centauro I love. Had one in grey and loved the design but most of all the engine. Nothing close to it other than a real Daytona!

Personally I have always like the looks of the Centuro, but than there are few Guzzi models I find unlikeable.

I like the chopper just fine, and would be proud if it were mine. I also really like the Centauro. They should bring it back.
