First time at an adventure moto rally, second rally ever (thanks, 2021 MGNOC rally!)
‘Twas held in North Haverhill this year, I guess last year’s rally was in an area a bit on the affluent end, and less receptive to motos ripping around.
I went up primarily to do the D.A.R.T. /SheADV Intermediate course and camped Thursday and Friday night. The hurricane coming up today caused me to peace out last night, otherwise I would’ve spent another night.
Here’s a quick snip of me during the training course. Notice I learned how to use the very tricky reverse gear maneuver quite well:

Even learned how to tow a dead motorcycle with my own.
Didn’t quite have the funds to pay for some of the other perks like the group rides.
Sat in on a few classes. Learned more about emergency medical response and trail maintenance. I really need to get CPR-certified. It’s easy, free, and can help save a life.
Got to test ride the new Yamaha Tenere 700 as well as the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC, my favorite bike that I’ve demo’ed yet. Almost dumped the Tenere when I got stuck in a rut. Harley was there as well with their Pan Ams, but I already had ridden one. One of the Harley reps made a small demo course for tight off-road maneuvering and practiced it himself. Definitely a pro, and ripped up quite a bit of grass in the process. Made that beast look 200 pounds lighter.
Teach McNeil pulled awesome stunts up and down the open road. Absolutely amazing, but I suspect it was just a 30 lb motorized trick bike with BMW plastic covering it.
Also finally caught that big Redstone rocket standing up in Warren, NH by happenstance when driving past. That was unexpected and neat.
Sorry I don’t have any other pics. I have to do better at that!
