NGC~ Need help from the google gurus

Solved, see below.
My gmail now displays in some form of list format; not the HTML table format they have used for years?? Been all over preferences but can find no way to go back to the "HTML" format. The browser I am using is Opera because Chrome kept showing "pop ups" and redirects that flat annoys me!! If I go to Chrome the HTML format appears as it has for years. I even tried Safari and it also shows up as the list format. I am vexed, any help would be appreciated!!

you might try looking under settings with the gear icon, and checking out the "density" settings. There's supposed to be 3 options : default, comfortable, and compact. I enjoy squinting for some reason, so always have compact on. That's the first thing I can think to check anyways

Never mind~ found a work around by coping the link in the Chrome browser and using to access on Opera.
