LeMans,etc. Bracket Wanted
« on: October 31, 2021, 11:34:48 AM »
Looking for this bracket for my CX:

The bike has a Lemans I wiring harness and I'd like to route the connection under the tank as per the LMI. Right now it's all bunched up under the headlight. I assume this bracket also came on the T, T-3,etc.

Thanks.

Pretty sure these brackets were specific to the LM series....The T's and T 3 have sockets in the headshell where the equivalent plugs connect. This bracket serves the same function but relocates them.

I’ll check with Mark. Yes, forgot that those plugs are in the headlight shell.

I think Milles and Call III as well had that bracket, probably many others as well.
Harper's says they have it $5.23.

LOL. Now watch someone jump in complain that $5 is too darned much for a simple sheet metal bracket like that!
yeah, I might be addicted to brake fluid. But I can stop any time I want.

Had one in my hands today and the guy wanted to know if you want it traced. Easy to make one. Let me know, his bike will be apart for frame, swingarm & wheel paint. He's looking for a LH cllip-on original.

Steve, Thanks, I have one on my Lemans that I can copy if need be but I'm going to see if I can find an original part.

Edit: Curtis had the part and it was more than $5 bucks (not a lot more) but I'm terrible at metal work.

Thanks all.

Yeah, I got that info from the web site. I wondered at the time if it would be correct as they have experienced some catastrophic disaster with their site. Glad you got it sorted.

.  Your number is correct  Unintentional  typo  on my part
Below is where I found the part. One ending in 5 is the later  type common to SP and others
