All MGP rye tastes the same... or it doesn't!

For MGP it's mostly age and proof.  Try the Bulleit against the Redemption Barrel Strength 7 and see which one you like.  Then go for an older aged bottle in the same proof.  Older rye gets expensive quick, however.

I like both.  Usually Bulleit or Redemption, but I might spring for Rabbit Hole if I have a few extra bucks in my wallet.  It's better, but not twice the price better.  Redemption is my usual favorite when I can find it but be careful when asking for it.  Once when a clerk asked me if I needed help finding anything I said "I'm looking for Redemption" which got me a blank stare and an awkward pause.

I'm a fan of Templeton Rye but Knob Creek is my go-to. There are far too many on my list to try but $$ is always a deciding factor as some can get rather lofty.

So, I had the lady add a nip bottle of Rye Whiskey to my order and when I got home it was no where to be found.  Called her up and she said it was put in the bag.

Guess I wasn't meant to taste it.   :blank:
