buy a used buell blast for 500 and get almost 80 mpg

I went past the gas station in the mid-day @$3.79.  I went the other way past it in the early evening @$4.19.  I think they're taking advantage of the situation. 

My car and my Convert get close to the same mileage.  It's a bummer when I can't justify riding the bike with fuel economy arguments.   :embarrassed:

In '08 when oil was $126/barrel gas was selling for $4.30/gal... Now oil is $106 a barrel and they are charging $5+gal. Curious. Someone is getting rich(er) and it aint us.

I'm just glad it takes me 2+ weeks to run through an 18gal tank

Looking at a MP3 500 tomorrow.  If in good shape w/low miles.  I'll probably get it.  Real odd-ball ride.   :grin:
