Nope. When you come to a stop and the bike is in first gear, simply shift up and it’ll go into neutral (without jumping into second).My ‘91 Concours had this feature too, so it’s been around.
Interesting. I've only seen the ones with the separate levers before:
If I remember correctly, Kawasaki uses a "Check Ball" in the secondary shaft that blocks the shift drum from passing neutral unless said shaft is spinning. (My last jap bike was a 1981 GPZ 1100.)
Just curious… why emphasize the “W”? What’s the significance of it over the Kawasaki name?
