Replaced brake fluid in the 2013 V7 and now the rear bleeder is lightly weeping fluid.I don’t have a reliable torque wrench I just tightened her until it stopped, nothing excessive. The front is ok but the rear is a little wet after a ride. Not many options so I might try replacing the bleeder. I don’t think any more tightening is safe.
There will probably be some sediment in the bottom of the hole preventing the tapered end of the male part seating.
Or.
Contamination on the tip of aforesaid male part, again stopping it from seating.
I’d think that a VERY gentle application of very fine wet/dry on the end of a suitable piece of wooden dowell, properly tapered in a lathe, to clean the seat.
Also some attention to the end of the threaded male fitting.
