ECU designation
«

Hello folks,
Does anyone know what the letters and numbers after the IAW on an Magneti Marelli ECU numbers mean?. For example IAW5AM. BS, then the HW number, as opposed to IAW5AM. GE, then the hardware number, in both cases HW610. The GE and BS letters in particular, and of course any numbers that come after the HW610.
Thanks.
Alan.
