Wes Stevens MGNOC story
« on: August 25, 2022, 03:25:22 PM »
Wes Stevens is a WG guy, a great rider, and one of the kindest men I've met. Here's a story I found on the interneck about him and his sweet late life, Pat.

Wes is a good guy and he was a great husband.  I've known him for years and we stay in touch. He called me not long ago and he's doing well, moving on with his life.  He recently bought a new Guzzi V7.

I talk to Wes now and then too. He sold the V7 he bought from Rocker59 it's owned by my buddy Mike in Camdenton now

Yes, and he bought another brand-new one.

Yep, Wes is a good guy. He & Pat, Gail & I have spent quite a bit of time together at various rallies.

It was always a pleasure to visit with Wes and Pat at rallies. Two more fine folks in the Guzzi community that I've met since buying the 750 Ambo back in Aug of '71.

I had a long talk with Wes last night. He's doing well.  Maybe 2500 miles on his new V7III.  I told him that he was being talked about on this website.  He laughed and said he better come see.

Wes is a great neighbor. Every time I ride by his house, his bike is gone. Very rarely do I see him sitting around, unless we're enjoying a PBR together.

Well, Luap, you brought it up.  I was't going to mention it but the challenges of finding Pabst Blue Ribbon brand was one of the topics that Wes discussed. Same with Old Milwaukee that Wes says he's given up on finding nowadays.

Wes brought up something I'd never heard about - a 30-pack.  I don't think that's available in very market.  I've seen Coca-Cola in, like, 24 packs but not 30.
