what do you guys think to using Heldite when reassembling the bevel drive, specifically the oil drain botls, on my V50 please? thanks.

That is not what I would put on drain , level and fill plugs. That's what they make crush washers for. If anything I would use & have used Loctite 518, a red jell comes in a tube. Used on orings for fuel tank pump plates in Aprilia's. I put it on rubbers on early Stelvio's that fit through the bodywork. Also I have put it on petcock retaining nuts to stop a drip. Works great.

I came across Helldite on some obscure youtube video and it got me thinking. i haven't seen any 'how to's' that have mentioned it so wasn't entirely sure if it is required in the application of our bikes. crush washers as you should be sufficient. thanks guys.
