Donation
« on: December 20, 2022, 07:40:39 AM »
As the year winds down, a donation to the forum makes a lot of sense to me.  I spend more time here than on those streaming services full of pap.  My unusual questions about engine assembly are answered in minutes by true experts, sometimes with photos.  Political leanings are intentionally and thankfully absent.  Dog pictures circulate periodically. Most important are the friendships. They are truly international, surprisingly local and never to be taken for granted. Thanks Luap.

Don’t forget that the purchase of the MG hot/cold mugs are a donation also and those containers are amazing how long they keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold👍

It's my annual first week of the new year ritual going back well more than a decade now. Well worth the money.

I have a modest amount go to the forum from my PayPal every month. Painless and worth every penny. I could afford a lump sum every year but that is harder on my cheapskate Guzzi brain than a small amount each month which is actually more than I would pony up on a yearly basis.

If I am not mistaken, Luap would prefer the 2023 wilduzzi.com donation to arrive AFTER Jan. 1st for tax reasons, yes?  Please confirm, thanks! :thumb:  :boozing:

If you send cash, make sure that the bills are unmarked, with non-sequential serial numbers.

True. I'm taxed on whichever year I receive donations and those taxes are figured into the amount needed every year to stay in operation. I wish I could convince the IRS otherwise, but that aint happening.

That said, we've met our goal for the year but anything more that comes in this year will go into a separate fund I have for paying 3rd party support when stuff comes up that I cannot handle alone. That usually amounts to around $200 - $500 a year and we have right at $200 in that account so far. Anything over that and I might get to take my wife out to a nice Taco Bell dinner date
