Will be on May 13 2023 at 1230 central time at Shaffer Farms Texas BBQ, 4 Vaughn Stages Road, Summertown Tn.

I will be camping that weekend at Henry Horton State Park if anybody wants to join. Hope to see some of you at lunch on the 13th!

This time of year you have to pay attention to the verbiage along with the percentage.

Last night we had a line come through that dumped in some spots and barely rained in other areas, and was past us in 30 minutes.

I don’t feel like getting poured on this weekend so maybe Il scrap the bike idea and take my truck?? Hmmm Il watch the weather forecast closely. Looks like SCATTERED storms tomorrow so I might be ok. Or Il get soaked. Lol

Download "MyRadar" app. If you see dark skies ahead pull over check the radar to see which way it might be heading and then decide if you need to take a break indoors for 30 minutes.

My wife was out on the horse today and got rained on, but was dry by the time she got back to her trailer.

We had maybe a mile or two wide rain storms pass through the area today. They come and go quickly.

Each weather forecasting service shows something a bit different. The one on my desktop says only a 24% chance of rain, and that's not until after 4 PM. But the Weather Channel says 60% chance of rain/thunderstorms all day!!

They can't both be right. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Inspite of the good company, I have no desire to ride through a bunch of rain just to eat lunch,.

There will be four of us riding from my area and 3 coming out of Alabama.

The counterclockwise system has moved out and now it looks like just chances of pop up storms that can usually be avoided or waited out.

The forecast for my area and the area where the restaurant is located is showing 30% with the highest chances after 5pm.

My group had an awesome ride going and coming from the lunch. The only rain was the light shower while we ate. Great seeing familiar faces and meeting Craig and Dave.
