70+ mile shakedown ride this morning...
« on: June 10, 2023, 03:50:25 PM »
On the ol' Yellow Horse, aka, my '98 Centauro GT...with my friends and neighbors from the VOC / Cottonwood / Clarkdale.

It ran great!  A new set of SHINKO Ravens...fresh oil / fliter...she's all ready for for the GRIN rally Datil, New Mexico in mid-August... :thumb:

Looks great! If you and your buds come to Prescott and schedules work out, I’ll buy you lunch.

Thanks, Bisbee, very kind offer... :thumb:  :boozing:

We do get to Prescott often, mostly when there is a car / bike show going on...

I have several good friends who are motorcyclists there.  Also, we always try and stop by to see Guzzi dealer Jim Knapp at his new store / location...

I could be mistaken, that's one of my default states, but wasn't there a bike named briefly with the moniker "Exxon Valdez" ?
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Well, there's "MOBY DICK" (aka, The Great White Whale)....

but a bike named the "Exxon Valdez" must have been an oil leaker of biblical proportions...like maybe and old Harley or Triumph, or BSA, or Norton?!
